A predominantly Indica-dominant variety and was specially developed for outdoor cultivation. Thanks to its genetic origin from the Friesland region in the north of the Netherlands, it impresses with its exceptional resistance to weather and mold. The flowering time is around 60-70 days.

Friesland is one of the true classics from the early days of the Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) in the 1980s. It has been preserved by breeders for generations, as it has particularly rare characteristics.

Our current mother plant was selected from a total of 120 plants in order to pass on the most stable and highest quality line.

The plants grow compact, stable and bushy, with sturdy stems and broad, fleshy indica leaves. Towards the end of flowering, it displays an impressive play of colors with purple and reddish nuances under the right conditions. Its abundant resin content makes it ideal for the production of hashish and extracts.

In terms of taste, Friesland offers an earthy, spicy profile accompanied by creamy undertones. Individual phenotypes can also develop a slightly chemically sticky note. The effect is strongly body-focused, relaxing and calming, making it an ideal strain for after work or medicinal applications.
